Counselor, MA, LLPC

It is okay to not be okay, as long as you are willing and ready to invite change and progression into your life. However, deciding to seek help can be one of the most difficult and rewarding decisions you will ever make. Be assured that therapy is an individualized journey that empowers you to be honest and open, giving you the willingness to overcome your struggles. My approach to therapy is holistic, inclusive, realistic, and aims to achieve your healing goals based on your own needs and preference. Therefore, I strive to develop a plan that will largely be dependent on your own individuality and what you bring to the session.
You deserve support through whatever you’re facing, whether your challenges feel like a little grey cloud or an overriding hurricane. I am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space where you can fully express yourself. I’m a culturally sensitive therapist. I encourage clients to discuss emotions, feelings, and experiences.
I believe the client and therapist are partners who work together to uncover unconstructive patterns to reach new goals. I would love to hear from you, and I look forward to meeting you and embarking on your journey of healing and self-growth. *Accepting new clients*

Stephanie K. Wilks:

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LMSW (she, her)

Are you or members of your family struggling with relationships or communication? Do you or someone in your family have trauma-based needs? I’ve worked exclusively with families and children since 2019. I help my clients understand why they respond the way they do, and how to respond differently. I specialize in trauma, and trauma-based patterns. I’m also comfortable working with people who are neurodivergent. Single parent struggle? I can help with that too! I’ve helped adults and children with self-harm behaviors, suicidal ideation, anxiety, anger, and other emotional, relational, and behavioral issues.
I am certified in TFCBT. I also use a variety of other psychotherapy techniques, including interventions based in DBT, mindfulness, play therapy, and PCIT. As a licensed clinical social worker, I’m committed to providing quality care to all patient populations. I’m LGBTQ+ and alternative family structure friendly.
I was raised in a rural Michigan community. Life’s journey has taken me to many places. I previously lived in the Middle East for over five years. No matter what your experience of living on this planet has been, I’m here to meet you where you are at. Whether you know what you need help with or aren’t sure where to start, give me a call. I can help!
